Friday night pizza night just got even easier. And if you’ve never tried Salami with Hot Honey pizza, be prepared to be blown away…

Recipe:
1 or 2 sheets puff pastry (depending how many people are eating. I use @dufourpastrykitchens Dufour )
Hot Honey (my favorite brand is from @Zabs)
Salami slices
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Pizza sauce
1 egg for egg wash
Basil leaves

Preheat oven to 400°F/ 200°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drizzle Hot Honey in a rectangular shape on the parchment paper, about 11/2”/3cm less than the size of the puff pastry.
Layer the salami over the honey.
Cover the salami with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Roll the puff pastry into a rectangle and spread with pizza sauce. Carefully flip the pastry over and cover the salami/cheese mixture with the pastry.
Brush the pastry with egg wash and bake the pizza for about 17 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cook for a few minutes. For a thin crust version, place another sheet pan over the baked pastry and gently press down to flatten slightly. Holding the the 2 sheet pans together, flips the pizza over. Carefully remove the parchment paper and scatter the pizza with basil leaves. Cut into triangles and serve immediately.
For a larger pizza, join 2 pieces of puff pastry together to form a large triangle
