Now you can make the infamous $100 lobster Cobb salad from a well known restaurant in Montauk, for a whole lot less. Yes, it’s worth the hype because it is delicious but save yourself a trip and money and enjoy it at home…

Recipe:

Salad:

10 ounces steamed lobster meat

4 tablespoons celery (use the inner ribs of celery), finely chopped
Squeeze of lemon juice
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Sea salt to taste
1/4 cup chopped, cooked bacon
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 avocado, diced
6 cups gem lettuce

Dressing:

¼ cup buttermilk
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp tarragon vinegar
½ Tbsp fresh tarragon, finely chopped
¼ tsp garlic cloves, finely minced
¼ tsp shallots, diced
⅛ tsp mustard powder
½ scallion, chopped
1 dash Tabasco
½ Tbsp chives, parsley, oregano, fresh chopped and mixed
Salt and white pepper, to taste
