Unforgettable Last-Minute Toffee Christmas Crack – A salty-sweet delight that keeps the conversation going for months. Personalize with your favorite chocolate and toppings! 🍫🎄

Recipe:

20-25 saltine crackers
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 bars Lindt chocolate (I used white, but a variety is also great)
1 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
Topping: crushed peppermint candies
Or flaky salt, chopped nuts, cranberries or sprinkles.

Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Place the sugar and butter in a saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a low boil. Boil for 2 minutes and pour over the saltine crackers. Place the sheet pan in the oven for 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with the chocolate bars. Return the baking sheet to the oven for another 4 minutes to melt the chocolate.
Remove from the oven and immediately top the melted white chocolate with dollops of melted milk chocolate chips. Swirl the chocolate with a wooden skewer. Top with crushed peppermint candies or preferred toppings. Place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to harden. Break the candy into shards and serve or place in gift bags.
