As always, Tiktok brings to light a genius hack that I can’t believe I never thought of myself. Eggs in a bagel hole is the best breakfast, lunch, or dinner you never knew you needed…

Tip: If you want a perfect look, use a cookie cutter to make the bagel hole a little bigger. Add a piece or two of bacon, prosciutto, or smoked salmon, if you like.

Recipe:

  • 1 bagel, halved

  • Avocado oil

  • 2 eggs

  • Grated cheese of choice

  • Optional toppings such as cherry tomatoes or mushrooms

  1. Place parchment paper on a small baking sheet or in your air fryer basket, and drizzle with oil

  2. Halve the bagel (spread with butter for extra crispiness on the inside) and place on the oiled paper, inside of the bagel facing down

  3. Sprinkle the bagel with grated cheese

  4. Carefully crack an egg into each bagel hole

  5. Season with salt and black pepper

  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes (for jammy eggs) or to desired doneness
