Transform your potato game forever with this irresistible dish. Warning: You’ll want to make extra – trust us, one batch is never enough!

Recipe:

4 -6 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
1 stick/113g unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 sachets of onion soup mix
Salt and black
Pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
Combine the melted butter, olive oil and onion soup powder in a bowl or jug. Place the potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet and toss with butter/soup mixture. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour (or more), turning the potatoes halfway until they are a deep golden brown and crispy.
